From the pine forests of Knysna to the urban routes of Soweto, we love receiving stories of Signal riders thriving on their bikes, enjoying the freedom and excitement that two wheels gives them.
To celebrate this positivity, we dispatched Oli 'Pinner' Munnik to various parts of our beautiful country to join 6 Signal Shredders on their local trail.
Please keep an eye out on our social channels (@signalbikes) for an exciting Show Us Your Local competition launching in mid February 2021 where you could win a product hamper to the value of R10 000.
Amidst the disruptions to our lives over the past few months, getting out on our bikes has become a life-line for many ... for me, the Show Us Your Local campaign celebrates how Signal Bikes is giving people of all ages and walks of life a chance to momentarily lose themselves in the outdoors, while still being on their doorstep.

The first installment of Show Us Your Local sees Oli joining aspiring racing snake Braam Wannenburg for a fast paced ascent of his local climb, the legendary (and grueling!) Montagu Pass that links George in the Southern Cape to Oudsthoorn in the Klein Karoo.
Watch to see if Braam is able to reach the railway underpass before Oli as they dual it out to the summit on their Signal Pros.

JESS | DELTA PARK, JOBURG
It's Big Air & Big Vibes as Oli finds himself in the Big Smoke, joining MTB newbie Jess Robinson for a fun, flowing lap of her local - ππ¦ππ΅π’ ππ’π³π¬ - which forms part of Joburg's renowned Spruit trail network.
The Pinner was enthralled by Delta Park, discovering that it has something for everyone. Between the gentle single tracks that lead into an awesome tree-lined bermed section to a few serious jumps built on the park's Northern boundary, both newbies and adrenaline seekers can get their MTB fix at Delta Park.

JASPER, MO & STU | CORK TREE ALLEY, SOUTHERN SUBURBS
Laaities Jasper and Mo are best friends. One of their favourtie things to do together is ride their local - the Green Belt trail - that snakes its way from Rhodes Memorial to the lower slopes of Tokai in Cape Town's Southern Suburbs.
The duo's best section is Cork Tree Alley with its river crossing providing the perfect picnic spot. It's a chance for them to refuel and climb a nearby tree for good measure. Not to mention give Jasper's dad, Stu a chance to catch his breath!

Mpho has recently fallen in love with cycling and his S930. Nothing, he says, has ever given him the sense of freedom quite like his mountain bike!
After an invite from Mpho, Oli jumped at the opportunity to visit Soweto and ride Mpho's local urban route, which takes in the world famous Vilakazi precinct, the Orlando Pirates Stadium and iconic cooling towers.
Signal S610
LIZZY | HEROES TRAIL, KNYSNA
Living just a stone's throw away from Knysna's Concordia Contour Trail network, Lizzy rides her S610 like a boss!
Oli joins Lizzy on her favourite local, the Heroes Trail, which gets its name from the colourful stones that are dotted alongside the trail. She and her classmates have beautifully hand painted each of the stones with various characters like Batman, Angry Birds and of course, Sponge Bob Square Pants!!
