SUYL EP6: Full Throttle on Signal Hill

The sixth and final episode of the Signal Bikes 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝗨𝘀 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 video series unfolds in the shadow of Table Mountain as we join Pinner, Oli Munnik for a shred on his local 🚲💨 🇿🇦

Episode 6 is fast. It’s fun. It’s all about good vibes & celebrating the Spirit of Signal #OnTheHill.

Turn up the volume and strap yourself in as Pinner takes us on a thrilling tour of his local trail, winding his way from beneath Table Mountain, along the slopes of Signal Hill - the home of Signal Bikes - to Tamboerskloof.

Oli says that, thanks to the continued efforts of Table Mountain Bikers and iRide Africa, Cape Town's MTB community enjoy an array of rugged single tracks just a few minutes ride from the city centre.

Taking in the Mother City's spectacular views the renowned Belgian Waffle trail blends steep rocky shoots, fast flowing turns with one or two steep pitches to create a world class adrenaline rush that is the jewel in the City Bowl's trail network.

Like all great rides, Oli usually ends at his local coffee shop, Tamboers Winkel for a cortado and croissant, recharging before heading back home or another lap around Lion's Head.

Why I love riding:
I love the fact that there are so many facets to cycling with each discipline bringing something unique to the table. It's also very sociable, and we have a great community in Cape Town and South Africa at large.

From the peaks of the Outeniqua Mountains to the urban routes of Soweto, we love receiving stories of Signal riders thriving on their bikes, enjoying the freedom and excitement that two wheels gives them.

To celebrate this positivity, we dispatched Oli 'Pinner' Munnik to various parts of our beautiful country to join 6 Signal Shredders on their local trail.
